A conference is unique among collegial athletic conferences when its members come a lot Christian colleges located in Central and Southern California. It is a lot similar within enrollment, academics, athletics and student life.

Conference teams use at times won 20 national championships. Azusa Pacific won a 2004-2005 NAIA Director's Cup.
